DAWCWR, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit animal clinic. We offer the people of our community an affordable and quality choice for domestic and wild animal care with knowledgeable and compassionate staff. We strive to educate our community by providing education within the clinic and by invitation to groups and organizations.

At the end of the day, we want to offer a tangible example of compassion and humane ethics for all living creatures.

OUR long-term "relief" DOCTOR

Dr. Robert Brown "Jim" is our long-term relief veterinarian and surgeon. He comes with years of experience and passion for providing excellent care to all animals. 

We thank Dr. Brown for his dedication to helping us until we find a full-time doctor.

We are excited to be able to offer our clients this new and much needed service in our community, provided by Jayme Dow. Jayne is a 2011 graduate from Rio Gran grooming school and with her expertise and experience we are thrilled to have her on board. To make your grooming appointments, contact Jayme at 715-419-2191.

FRIENDS of AWC Campaign

Various giving levels are available to help us with our move:

Bronze = $100 – $249, receive collapsible waterer            

Silver = $250 – $499, receive mug

Gold = $500 – $999, receive t-shirt                                          

Platinum = $1,000 – $2,499, receive all 3

Platinum Plus = $2,500+, all 3 above plus a room named after you

Any donors of $100+ will get their name on a plaque at the office.

SEEKING A FULL-TIME ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN! 

We have a great opportunity for our expanding and growing clinic.  Candidate must have their DVM license, a good work ethic and work well with others. New graduates will be considered. For more information please email Theresaagoiffon@msn.com 

Wildlife transportation volunteers needed

We are looking for volunteers to help transport injured and orphaned wildlife from the clinic to either the Raptor Center in St. Paul or the Wildlife Center in Roseville. A fuel stipend is available for those volunteers that need it. Please contact the clinic at 715-349-4774.

Please remember DAWCWR, Inc. is a drop-off site for injured and orphaned wildlife. Pass this information on!

We are very pleased to announce and welcome our full time Lead Veterinarian and Director, Dr. Brittney Nelson, who joined our clinic full time, on February 10, 2020.

Dr. Brittney grew up in a small town in northwestern Illinois. She received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science and her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. Following veterinary school she worked in a mixed animal practice for a year and a half. 

 

She has a special interest not only in working with small animals  but is experienced in equine medicine and treatment, we look forward to adding that specialty to our practice. 
 

When she's not working, Brittney enjoys running with her border collie, riding horses, and reading. Please stop by and meet our great addition

We are also pleased to announce Dr. Lisa Wolff who will be also be working with us long term every Thursday doing surgeries and clinicials. She has been a great addition to our busy clinic.

until Covid-19 restrictions are over.

Vice President of Commercial Lending. 

Michael brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, primarily with startup companies. Mike has a strong background in accounting. 

Dave is the President of the Village of Siren, WI. Along with being a long time resident in the area, Dave is also the owner of the Pinewood Motel in Siren.
