DAWCWR, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit small animal clinic, in addition to specializing in equine. We also provide services to orphaned or sick and injured wildlife in our area. clinic.
We offer the people of our community an affordable and quality choice for domestic and wild animal care with knowledgeable and compassionate staff. We strive to educate our community by providing education within the clinic and by invitation to groups and organizations.
At the end of the day, we want to offer a tangible example of compassion and humane ethics for all living creatures.
Dr. Brittney Nelson is our Director and Lead Veterinarian. Dr. Britney grew up in a small town in northwestern Illinois. She received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science and her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. Following veterinary school she worked in a mixed animal practice for a year and a half.
She has a special interest not only in working with small animals but is experienced in equine medicine and treatment. We are now taking appointments for most of your equine needs.
When she's not working, Brittney enjoys running with her border collie, riding horses, and reading. Please stop by and meet our great addition.
Dr. Lisa Wolff is our part-time Associate Veterinarian who specializes in dentals.

We are pleased to announce we have a new lead groomer, Alexandra Sorenson.
She has been grooming for over 7 years.
She is well versed in corrective and breed standard grooming, offers cat grooming, and hand stripping as well.
She is also CPR certified
Jayme Dow established the grooming at the clinic in 2020 and will continue to do a few select clients as her time allows. Jayne is a 2011 graduate from Rio Gran grooming school and with her expertise and experience we are thrilled to have her on board.

Wildlife transportation volunteers needed
We are looking for volunteers to help transport injured and orphaned wildlife from the clinic to either the Raptor Center in St. Paul or the Wildlife Center in Roseville. A fuel stipend is available for those volunteers that need it. Please contact the clinic at 715-349-4774.

Theresa is an AKC Breeder of Merit breeding top ranked Australian Terriers in the USA. She is a retired Vice President of Commercial Lending and Business Development.
Michael brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, primarily with startup companies. Mike has a strong background in accounting.
Dave is the President of the Village of Siren, WI. Along with being a long time resident in the area, Dave is also the owner of the Pinewood Motel in Siren.

Wayne is a retired school teacher and an active AKC Judge who resides in Minnesota. Wayne has been a life-long advocate for animals and highly respected by his peers and others involved with canine foundations.
