Important message regarding clinic protocol in light of COVID-19.
Important Announcement! Thank you for your understanding as we continue to serve you and your animals as best we can during the challenges we are all faced with the COVID-19 crisis.
A message from the DAWC board.
All of us at Domestic Animal Wellness Center and Wildlife Rescue are here for you.
Dear Neighbor, We want you to know that all of us at DAWC are monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and are making changes to our protocols to keep both our staff and our clients safe. As of right now, our plan is to stay open regular hours as long as we are able.
Here's our new protocol until further notice:
● We are doing our best to make sure our clinic continues to be safe for you and our staff. This means extra daily cleaning. ● We ask that if you have any symptoms of illness, PLEASE STAY HOME and reschedule your appointment. ● We ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If you are early, please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. ● For most routine appointments, we will be asking that owners bring their animals to the clinic doors and then remain in their vehicle while we examine and treat the animals. We understand that this plan will cause concerns from some, but has become essential for us to comply with social distancing recommendations. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis, as we acknowledge that some scenarios may not allow for this. ● You may notice that our staff is utilizing personal protective equipment. Please don’t be offended or alarmed by this.
We thank you for your understanding. Our commitment is to be here for you and do everything we can to assist you and your animals.
Stay safe and healthy.
