Ruby, a 14 year old Golden Retriever/Labrador mix, came to visit us due to increased and bloody urination. Upon x-ray we found 5 bladder stones, the largest of which was over 5"!

Pictured are the 5 stones that were removed from her bladder. We are sending one of the smaller stones off for evaluation to determine what type of stone it is. Once we get those results, we can help her owners choose a diet that will hopefully prevent further stones from developing.

Orphaned opossums were brought to the clinic. After treatment, they were transferred to an appropriate facility.

This sweet puppy was in recently for a first puppy visit and vaccinations!

This call duck was brought in recently after developing sinus infections under both eyes. The duck was treated with Baytril, and the left sinus healed uneventfully. The other side; however, developed a coryza, which is a fancy word for hardened puss. Once the infection loses its fluidity, it needs to be surgically expressed. Since it was short surgery, we gassed it down with isoflurane, plucked the feathers at the site, used surgical scrub, made a small incision over the pus and expressed.

These are Napoleon kittens from a local breeder. They have shorter legs and a very expressive face.

We met Riley at 7 weeks of age at the end of 2015, and we just saw him recently for his annual checkup and vaccinations. What a difference 1 year can make! Riley is as friendly as can be, and he has matured into a really handsome dog.

Tucker the St. Bernard came in for his 1 year exam and vaccinations. What a change from his last visit! We love to watch our patients grow up.
